ELI(r) Unveils New Certified Instructor Community

Atlanta, GA (PRWeb) February 17, 2007 -- ELI announced today that it has formalized its network of certified instructors through the introduction of the ELI Certified Instructor Community™ (CIC). The CIC will provide ongoing networking, learning, and best-practice-sharing opportunities for individuals who have become certified to deliver ELI workplace training programs, including the Civil Treatment series and industry-specific programs that help companies build civil, legal, and ethical workplace cultures. Anyone who has successfully completed ELI’s Certified Instructor Program is automatically a member of the CIC.

ELI Certified Instructors are a select group of professionals from across industries who are delivering ELI’s award-winning training courses within their own organizations. Because the distinction goes with them when they transfer jobs, over 5,000 people now hold ELI Certified Instructor status, with the ranks continuing to grow each month.

“Whether someone was certified a month ago or years ago, ongoing learning and networking opportunities are always helpful,” says ELI President Stephen M. Paskoff, Esq. “ We wanted to provide a more formal way for instructors to stay connected - with ELI and with each other - to hone their skills, share experiences, and provide feedback and input.”

The prevalence of corporate scandals and increase in mandatory harassment training laws has further driven the need for instructors to stay updated on the latest trends and effective behavior change techniques. Through a variety of communication vehicles, CIC members will be able to solicit and share ideas, keep up-to-date on ELI content, and hear about breaking legal and business news that could have an impact on their training delivery.

“With an inside track to ELI and an instant network of thousands of like-minded professionals, the CIC will provide added value to our certified instructors as well as their organizations,” Paskoff notes. “The ultimate goal is to provide a foundation of support to ensure the training delivery and overall implementations are meeting our clients’ business and learning objectives.”
