WNBA Star Diana Taurasi, One of Basketball's Most Decorated Players, Launches Blog at Yardbarker.com

Taurasi has brought success everywhere she has played. During college she led UConn to three NCAA titles and earned two Naismith Player of the Year Awards before helping the U.S. women's basketball team win gold at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Following an 8-26 campaign in 2003, the Phoenix Mercury selected Taurasi with the first pick in the draft and the rebound began. In just three seasons, the 6-0 guard has made three All Star teams, earned Rookie of the Year honors, has been selected to the All WNBA First Team twice, led the League in scoring, set a single game scoring record and has now made her first trip to the WNBA Finals.
