Marine-Created "Jarhead Clothing" Line Donates to Community Causes
Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) October 18, 2007 -- A new line of military-inspired clothing created by a Marine is giving back to the community through donations from each item sold. Jarhead Clothing is an exciting clothing line that brings a fresh new approach to making Marines look their best in their civvies.
Sgt Thomas Vidal, a former Marine turned entrepreneur, developed the concept from his love and pride of being a Marine combined with his passion for design. Sold online at www.jarheadclothing.com the T-shirts and sweatshirts feature symbolic designs, including "American Eagle," "Bullet," "Gas Mask," "Repel," "Free Fall" and "Hand Over Heart."
The designs are familiar not only to Marines, but to their counterparts in all the branches of the armed forces. "Jarhead Clothing reminds me of the accomplishments I made in the military and the values I continue to live by in my daily life," Tom says. Jarhead Clothing has started a new program to give back $1 of every t-shirt and $2 of every sweatshirt sold online to organizations that help Marines and their families. Donations have been made to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Wounded Warrior Project and Great Community, an organization that deals with military and community cancer patients in the greater San Diego area.
