Heather Schmid Unveils 'Mo Li Hua', Performs in China and Travels with the Chi Heng Foundation to an Affected AIDS Village in China

(PRWEB) December 15, 2007 -- Heather Schmid, International Recording Artist, unveiled the first ever English/Chinese version of the classic 'Mo Li Hua', Jasmine Flower, in Ningbo China on November 12, 2007. Goddess Inc., Heather, and her producers from America created an updated version of the music by including a rock beat and new orchestration. Well known to 2.5 billion people, 'Mo Li Hua' took on new meaning under the direction of Goddess Inc.'s Branding Specialist Dr. Rafay Mehdi. The premiere verse in Chinese and second verse in English is a first in the song's 3000-year history.

The World Tourism Symposium held in Ningbo, China was a fitting location for 'Mo Li Hua' and International Recording Artist Heather Schmid's full live show. The evening featured 'Mo Li Hua', music from 'The Goddess Within' and premier performance of 'Ningbo's Love" a classical duet featuring Heather Schmid, and Mark Heng, Chinese Classical Tenor.

Heather Schmid, Classically Trained Artist turned Pop Star, returned to her roots for the premiere of 'Ningbo's Love' a song written by Ling Huang for the occasion celebrating the world's tourism markets. 22 Countries came together at the prestigious 5 star Nanyuan Hotel for the symposium's final evening. The highly anticipated event featured 30 backup dancers for Heather's live performance. Media coverage from local and national newspaper, television and magazine editors and photographers were all in attendance for the prestigious event. Ningbo TV covered the event live on television.

Heather then traveled to Beijing as a special invited guest for the Business Traveler Magazine Awards held in the brand new Westin Hotel. The evening highlighted the best of the travel industry for 2007. Heather performed an impromptu version of Mo Li Hua after being called on stage by the BBC Financial Correspondent Rico Hizon, who flew in to host the evening extravaganza.

The next day, Heather took the overnight train to Hefei China to visit a small village with the Chi Heng Foundation, who help families affected by the AIDS virus. The Foundation helps students with money for school, medical fees and assistance getting the right treatments and medicines. Heather handed out stuffed animals and school supplies to the students, who were singing outside the schoolhouse as Heather arrived.

Lakeway Texas Real Estate: The Hills of Lakeway Community
In the olden days, gates kept people away either from an individual or sole family. They were signs of prestige, affluence and privacy. No one dared pass the gates without permission from the owner and a justifiable reason for entering. Today, that belief is not true; today gates are used to keep communities together, to bring in residents and offer them a safe secure place to live. Take, for example, the Hills of Lakeway, a small, gated community in the Texas Hills Country that provides its residents with a beautiful and incredibly welcoming place to call home.
