Third Product Challenge Announced By CPAP and Sleep Apnea Community CPAPtalk.com
(PRWEB) March 7, 2008 -- CPAPtalk.com is launching the third Product Challenge featuring ResMed and Hans Rudolph Full Face Masks.
The newest Challenge will pit the Hans Rudolph V2 Full Face Mask against the ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask. Volunteers will be accepted starting today. Once enrollment is complete, 50 participants will be chosen to evaluate the Hans Rudolph V2 full face mask. After a two-week trial period volunteers will be required to fill out a detailed survey to determine which product will be declared the CPAPtalk Product Challenge winner.
The last Product Challenge, between the Zzz-Mask full face and the Respironics ComfortFull 2 masks, was a close race with the ComfortFull 2 winning by a vote of 29 to 21. The Zzz-Mask stayed competitive in all areas of the trial. This Challenge provides manufacturers, durable medical equipment providers and doctors an insight to CPAP user preferences. The trial results could change drastically if PMI ProBasics requests a rematch after addressing the participants' comments in regards to adding a quick-release hose adapter or new headgear clips.
The Product Challenge helps to objectively identify the superiority of a product apart from its competitors. Manufacturers can then use the Product challenge to draw additional attention to product launches, build their brand image or expand market presence in a new niche. A manufacturer's success in the Product Challenge will provide compelling marketing material for a representative to extol the virtues of their product to diagnostic facilities and physicians.
Durable medical equipment providers can use the Product Challenge results as an objective measurement of product quality by CPAP users. Providers can use the evaluation in place of or as a supplement to costly in-house testing of products or as part of their own quality equipment marketing campaigns.
Physicians now have a product patient feedback resource. A CPAP user recently diagnosed with Sleep Apnea relies on their physician to recommend quality products and serve as a specialist that will help resolve any issues. With such a wide variety of products available, suggesting the right CPAP products is extremely difficult for doctors. CPAP users and physicians can use the CPAPtalk Product Challenge to determine which masks, machines and accessories will provide the best treatment possible for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Sleep Review Magazine is featuring advertisements of the Product Challenge winners throughout the year and results are also published on CPAPtalk.com, a public forum with over 230,000 posts and over 30 million page views. To see the results from the previous Product Challenge or to enroll in the current Challenge please visit http://www.cpaptalk.com/productchallenge Results will also be reported to industry publications and winners of Product Challenges will be identified on CPAP.com, the web's most popular CPAP retailer.

Importing electronic devices from China and other Asian countries is a very profitable business and lately the number of MP4 player wholesalers has skyrocketed. Why? Well, first of all because the largest consumer of electronic goods, the US market, is getting ready for the next step in portable entertainment ? MP4 players. The second reason for this new interest in MP4 player wholesalers and MP4 imports is that early product sampling and negotiations with the wholesaler could give US vendors and edge when the customers come rushing in to purchase MP4 players.
