Musicshake Releases New Application, Enhances Community Features

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2008 -- Musicshake, the first online User Generated Music application, today announced it has released a new version of the application and added new options for sharing and rating songs. Now Musicshakers can send an original tune link via email, embed it in a blog, or export it to Facebook profile with a player widget. The site also features new Shake charts highlighting the 'Top 50' songs and 'Best of the Best' based on community votes and expert reviews.

Musicshake makes it easy for anyone to compose original songs for ringtones, videos, web sites and more. Users can then create a global community around User Generated Music. The application requires no prior musical training or knowledge. Users simply choose a genre and combine instruments from a database of 400,000 modules created by professional musicians, and Musicshake does the rest.

Using its Mubot (Music Robot), the application automatically harmonizes the various elements of the track, giving users the flexibility to experiment with their creations. Individuals can even upload their own vocals for a truly unique sound. Musicshake owns the rights to all of its modules, removing any copyright concerns.

"While User Generated Content has exploded on the Web, it is largely made up of words, pictures and video," said Kihong Bae, general manager of Musicshake. "You don't see a lot of original music because most tools are meant for people with some level of formal music training. With Musicshake, all you need is a few minutes and a few mouse clicks to create your own unique sound."

In addition to the new application and community features, Musicshake has also added 80,000 new electronica music modules, and reorganized its 'Help' section into areas for Tutorials, Tips, FAQ and Report A Problem.
