Articulate's Rapid E-Learning Blog Named Top Blog Finalist
New York City, NY ((PRWEB) May 20, 2008 -- The Rapid E-Learning Blog (http://www.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/) published by Articulate, the market leader in rapid e-learning software, was named a Finalist today in the Best Blog category of The 2008 American Business Awards.
Hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" (New York Post, April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards that honor great performances in business. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in almost every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories.
The Rapid E-Learning Blog gives e-learning developers practical, real-world tips for e-learning success. Launched in August 2007 by Articulate vice president of community Tom Kuhlmann, the blog is read weekly by more than 20,500 subscribers. Earlier this year it was named a CODiE Awards finalist as Best Corporate Blog.
"It's a tremendous honor to be named as a finalist in the Best Blog category for yet another prestigious awards competition," said Kuhlmann. "It affirms that we're helping readers become e-learning pros."
"Being named a Finalist in The American Business Awards is an important achievement," said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. "It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition."
Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. A portion of each ticket sold for the gala will be contributed to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a nonprofit, nonpartisan effort founded by Nobel laureate and former Vice President Al Gore that seeks to halt global warming by educating people that the climate crisis is both urgent and solvable.
