MV Developments Announces New Lakefront Community at Lake Russell
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 30, 2008 -- MV Developments, an Atlanta based real estate development group, announced the opening of the first gated lakefront community at Lake Russell in Hart County, GA.
Called Savannah River Club, the development is planned to have 325 home sites situated on 435 acres along the pristine shores of Lake Russell near the town of Hartwell, GA. Plans call for a 5,500 sq. ft. clubhouse with a commercial kitchen, card room, exercise room and sitting room overlooking a junior Olympic swimming pool and kid's spray pool. Other amenities include onsite covered boat storage, walking trails, tennis courts, community gardens, a putting green and wildflower meadows.

Lake Russell is one of three lakes in the Savannah River Basin. Lake Hartwell releases water into Lake Russell, which in turn releases water into Lake Strom Thurmond, also known as Clarks Hill Reservoir. At 26,650 acres in size and 30 miles in distance from the north to the south end, Lake Russell is the fourth largest lake in Georgia. Unlike other US Army Corps of Engineer lakes, Lake Russell maintains a full pool year round.
