Free Business Blog Awareness Seminar to Feed Your Curiosity About Blogs

CLIVE, IOWA (PRWEB) November 2, 2005 -- Mike Sansone, a freelance business writer with Copywriting Solutions, is offering a free mini-seminar to create awareness of how blogs and content syndication can affect a business. The 90-minute session will be at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1520 NW 114th Street, Clive, Iowa on Friday, November 11 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A repeat presentation will be available on Thursday, December 8 at the same times.

Though many think of blogs as online journals – a popular way to use the tool – companies are beginning to use blogs and content syndication (also referred to as "feeds") as an additional marketing tool. A business can use blogs to deliver their message, interact with their customer, and do market research.

"When I ask a business owner if they know what is being said about them on the Internet, they usually have no idea whether people are talking about them or not. As a small business owner, I want to know what's being said so I can know how and when to respond, "says Sansone, a former AOL Community Programming Manager. ”Blogs and Feeds can help a business stay aware of conversations about their company, their competition, and their industry."

The Business Blog Awareness seminar is available to produce knowledge about the power behind these tools - a knowledge that is already widely used in other markets. This session addresses business leaders, business owners, and independent contractors at no charge for the rest of this year. Each session has limited seating, with a capacity of 25 attendees. The session is also available to businesses not able to attend in a one-on-one setting. Beginning in 2006, a more in-depth, four-week workshop, "Get Started Blogging" will be offered at $275 per company – a maximum of three representatives for each company.

The Business Blog Awareness seminar will present the general practices of blogsites and feeds so companies can decide what level of participation they should implement into their strategy. There will be open discussion throughout the session.

Investing In China: Chinese Banks
China?s banking sector has traditionally served as a party-controlled feeding trough for its inefficient, unprofitable state-owned enterprises (SOEs), most of which were technically insolvent. The process was simple ? extend a loan to an unqualified SOE applicant, then write off the loan as a bad debt when it failed to repay. This situation is beginning to change, and Chinese banks are attracting the attention of foreign banks that are beginning to view them as investment opportunities rather than potential competitors. Nevertheless, China?s banking industry is beset by several problems.

Great Wall of China - Embrace the Chinese Dragon
The Great Wall of China was originally created in 221 BC by joining several local walls which were built by ducal states to defend their own territories. Construction continued up to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), when the Great Wall became the world's largest military structure. The current measurement of this defensive wall, which stretches across northern China from east to west, is 7300 kilometers (4300 miles). Beijing without a doubt is the best place to experience the Great Wall.
